Connect Outlook when you want to import selected Microsoft 365 messages instead of saving them as files first. The connection belongs to the member who authorized it.
In Notes, connect Outlook under Settings → Connections instead.
The picker lists your mail folders, and the search box finds a folder by name. Open a folder to see its messages. The preview shows the sender, the subject, and how many attachments a message has.
Each message you import is stored as an email file (.eml) with its full content.
Attachments of an imported message become documents of their own, linked to the email they came with. The email shows how many attachments it brought in, and each attachment shows which email it belongs to.
Some attachments are left out: embedded images such as logos, very small images, calendar invites, files in a format yggy cannot read, and files that are too large. The email names each one it left out and why.
The connection settings have a Calendar option next to Mail. Calendar events are not imported into yggy yet, so turning it on does not add anything to your graph today.
Example: connect the mailbox, then open Sources → New → Upload file, choose Outlook, open Inbox, and import Q3 vendor invoices. The email and its attachments appear as linked documents. In Notes, attach the same message to a note with Attach from connections.
See Provider OAuth for availability, reconnect, and disconnect.
