Import a channel's messages as one transcript per day, and files shared in the channel.

Available in Data Sources · Sources → Upload · Notes

Connect Slack when you want a conversation in your graph without copying it out by hand. The connection belongs to the member who authorized it and sees the channels, private channels, and direct messages that member is already in.

  1. Open Data Sources → Available.
  2. Select Slack.
  3. Approve Slack’s consent screen for your Slack workspace.
  4. Return to yggy and confirm that the card is Connected.

In Notes, connect Slack under Settings → Connections instead.

Open a channel or conversation in the picker. It lists two kinds of items:

  • Daily transcripts. One Markdown file per day that has messages, for the last 30 days. Each transcript holds that day’s messages with author and time. Days follow UTC. Thread replies are not included.
  • Shared files. Files that were uploaded to the conversation. Links to files stored elsewhere, such as a Drive link, are not listed.

You can type in the search box to filter by name. Nothing is imported until you select it.

Example: connect Slack, open Sources → New → Upload file, choose Slack, open #eng-incidents, and import 2026-10-14.md together with the postmortem.pdf someone shared there. In Notes, attach the same items to a note with Attach from connections.

See Provider OAuth for availability, reconnect, and disconnect.
