Sources and verification

Chat exposes the tools it used and their results. Use those results to verify important answers.

Depending on the tool, a result can include:

  • entity labels and types;
  • subject–predicate–object triples;
  • document titles and links;
  • extraction confidence; and
  • source text stored with an extracted triple.

The Graph page also shows a triple’s source document, confidence, and source text when those fields are available.

  1. Expand the response’s tool calls.
  2. Find the entity, triple, or document that supports the answer.
  3. Open the linked resource.
  4. Compare the response with the extracted content or source text.

Not every response has inline numbered citations, and not every stored triple has a source-text excerpt. The current UI does not guarantee one citation for every generated sentence.

For connection and impact questions on the Graph page, the answer carries numbered references like [3]. Below the answer, Path through the data lists each step with the system, record and date the statement rests on. A step without a stored source says so instead of guessing.

If the evidence is incomplete, narrow the question, ask for the relevant document context, or inspect the source document directly.
